AceShowbiz - Rihanna is getting real about her fluctuated weight. Not succumbing to the pressure of losing weight despite being trolled online, the 31-year-old singer has opened up about how her curvier figure has affected her daily life and inspired her new Fenty collection, Release 6.19.
"We have our fit models, which is the standard size from factories, you just get your samples made in one size. But then, I want to see it on my body, I want to see it on a curvy girl with thighs and a little bit of booty and hips," Rihanna told E! News when showing up at Fenty's pop-up shop at The Webster in New York City on Tuesday, June 18.
The Barbadian beauty admitted that she now has bigger boobs, which come with their own challenge. "And now I have boobs that I never had before...you know," she shared, "I don't even know how to sleep sometimes, it's challenging, so imagine getting dressed." She added, "It's all of these things I take into consideration because I want women to feel confident in my stuff."
And Rihanna takes pride in spreading positive message through her clothing line. "We always just try to push ourselves. We pride ourselves in challenging ourselves to do better and push ourselves further, and how can we get our message across in a more impactful way?" she said. "Whether it's through fashion, lingerie, music, makeup...we try to get everybody involved and included in our brand."
Rihanna has reportedly been living healthier to prepare for her future as a mother. Star (via Bossip) reported last month that the "We Found Love" songstress "is scaling back on the spirits - to prepare her body for a baby" and "she can't wait to be a mom." The source said the "pop star is showing her longtime lover, Saudi billionaire Hassan Jameel, she's serious about becoming a mom by dialing back on her drinking and smoking."
