AceShowbiz - Lindsay Lohan was one of those who tuned into Taylor Swift's Instagram Live, during which the latter announced details of her new album "Lover". While many were excited to get updates on Taylor's new music, Lindsay apparently used the moment to try to connect with the country-turned-pop-superstar.
The 32-year-old actress/singer dropped random comments, including a heart-eyes emoji and "My mom was in cats," seemingly referring to Taylor's role in the upcoming movie adaptation of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. When Taylor didn't respond, Lindsay became irate. "You should respond!" she commented again, adding, "To your fans!"
As Taylor announced her new song is titled "You Need to Calm Down", some people told Lindsay to do just the same. "Why is Lindsay Lohan being HELLLLLA creepy on @taylorswift13's live stream? She's announcing her new song 'You Need To Calm Down'," another confused fan commented, " 'my mom was in cats' .....HUH?"
During the Instagram Live, Taylor revealed that her upcoming seventh album, "Lover", would be available on streaming services on August 23. The album includes the previously released single "Me!" feat. Brendon Urie and the newly released track "You Need to Calm Down". The music video for the new song will be unveiled on June 17 on "Good Morning America".
Meanwhile, Lindsay recently hinted through her social media posts that she's "hard at work" on new music. She captioned one of her studio Instagram posts with the hashtag #Me, which is the title of Taylor's song off "Lover". While the former Disney star didn't make her intention clear with her random comments during Instagram Live, it's possible that she's hoping to get Taylor's attention and work together on some new music.
