Twelve years after they last performed together at a 2007 tour, the 'You'll Be in My Heart' singer reunites with Mike Rutherford to perform their 1978 hit 'Follow You Follow Me'.

AceShowbiz - Phil Collins reteamed with his former Genesis guitarist Mike Rutherford for the first time in 12 years over the weekend, June 07-09.

Rutherford and his band Mike + The Mechanics have been supporting Collins for the last few dates of the solo star's "Not Dead Yet" trek, but on Friday, June 07, the guitarist joined the singer onstage in Berlin, Germany to perform their 1978 hit "Follow You Follow Me". It was the first time they had played together since Genesis reformed for a 2007 tour, and the reunion went so well that the pair repeated it on Saturday night in Aarhus, Denmark.

Collins and Rutherford have hinted at another Genesis reunion in the past, but there are still no official plans.

"If we did anything I think it would have to be with (son) Nic on drums because I don't think I'm capable of it," Collins, Genesis' original drummer, told Rolling Stone last year.

"I always say, 'Never say never'," Rutherford added earlier this year. "Look, if you asked me two or three years ago when Phil was retired, I would have said, 'No.' But there's no plans. Let's establish that..., but never say never. The fact that he's back on the road is quite interesting."
