AceShowbiz - Cardi B has given her two cents in the hottest debate among hip-hop community today. The Bronx femcee appeared to jump into City Girls' defense after it was revealed that Lil Yachty was the one behind their now platinum-certified record "Act Up".

Megan Thee Stallion and Asian Da Brat were among those who are against using ghostwriter, blasting City Girls with their shady tweets. Megan wrote about how she and Asian Doll are female rappers who "write their songs." Asian Da Brat echoed Megan's sentiment, posting, "We be writing out s**t @theestallion."

Yung Miami and Cardi B, who have had male rappers ghost write their hits, are clearly not having it. While she didn't mention Megan and Asian Da Brat by name, Yung Miami posted, "A HIT IS A HIT!!!!! Some of y'all h**s need writers PERIODT (sic)."

Cardi, meanwhile, weighed in on the debate during Instagram Live. Going on a foul-mouthed rant, the 26-year-old star hit back at those critics who blasted City Girls, "I bet you rap that whole f**king song with your whole motherf**king heart, b***h!"

She went on defending the Florida hip-hop duo, "I bet you use they accent though! You not using Lil Yachty accent, you using they accent! The f**k! Y'all be singing that song with y'all whole f**king chest. Y'all b***hes be hating."

Cardi indeed has had a good history with City Girls, having teamed up on the hit-single and twerk anthem "Twerk" which started the twerking frenzy.

Cardi speaking up on the ghostwriting debate comes after she made her stage comeback following the cancellation of her shows due to complications from plastic surgery. She returned to performing on Sunday, June 2 when she joined the Hot 97's Summer Jam at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker performed her hit "Press" and "Old Town Road", featuring surprise guests Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus. The Grammy-winning rapper was also joined by her husband Offset for their song "Clout".
