Melania isn't the only one who is slammed for her outfit choice as Ivanka Trump is also seen at the window in Buckingham Palace wearing the same shade as Melania and the Duchess of Cornwall.

AceShowbiz - The U.S. President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump visited Buckingham Palace on Monday, June 3. The pair were greeted by Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and wife Camilla. However, one thing that people noticed about the meeting was that FLOTUS had an outfit clash with the Duchess of Cornwall.

Melania arrived on the lawn at the British monarch's residence in a white Dolce & Gabbana dress. The number featured a navy-blue trim on the collar and belt. She completed her style with a wide-brimmed boater hat with a large navy-blue band by Herve Pierre.

Camilla, meanwhile, sported something uncomfortably similar. The Duchess opted for cream-hued ensemble by couturier Anna Valentine. She paired it with cream-coloured leather gloves, a clutch bag as well as a similar toned hat by Philip Treacy.

This appears as if Melania is lack of awareness of Duchess of Cornwall's history of sartorial choices, according to celebrity fashion stylist Alex Longmore. "Melania hasn't taken into consideration that the Duchess of Cornwall nearly always wears either pale colours of cream, certainly in recent years, hence the clash of colours between them at today's meeting," Alex shares to The Independent.

Melania isn't the only one who is slammed for her outfit choice. "Was there a white memo we didn't know about? Even Ivanka, Trump's daughter, was seen at the window in Buckingham Palace wearing the same shade as Melania," Alex adds, taking a jab at Ivanka Trump who arrived at the palace with husband Jared Kushner.

According to Alex, white is an "impractical" color to wear. Additionally, she suggests Melania to look to other members of the royal family for inspiration as to what to wear for the occasion. "It's a very confident colour to wear and we have seen so much of it recently with The Duchess of Sussex favouring creams and whites as does The Duchess of Cambridge," she goes on saying.

"Melania has obviously taken inspiration from the late Diana, Princess of Wales especially in the design of the hat she is wearing, the whole outfit is so Diana," she notes.

Later at the royals dine at the palace, Melania opted for a white sleeveless, long gown which she paired with matching gloves. Her husband, meanwhile, donned a black tuxedo and a white shirt as well as a white bow tie.

Also present at the State Banquet, which was hosted by the Queen, were Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince Charles, Camilla and Prime Minister Theresa May among others. Prince Harry met the First Family earlier in the day. Meanwhile, Meghan Markle chose to stay behind with her one-month-old baby boy Archie Harrison.

President Trump is set to be in the United Kingdom for three days.
