The 'Run the World (Girls)' singer glams up in a glittering, feathery golden catsuit, while her daughter looks cute in a billowing, yellow dress at the event which is also attended by Beyonce's former Destiny's Child groupmates.

AceShowbiz - Beyonce Knowles and Blue Ivy Carter went all out for Tina Knowles' annual Wearable Art Gala in Santa Monica, California on Saturday, June 1. For this year's theme "A Journey to the Pride Lands", the mother-daughter duo wore matching "The Lion King"-inspired outfits.

The "Formation" songstress went glamorous in a custom-made glittering, feathery golden catsuit featuring an image of a lion across the bodice and matching cape, designed by Georges Hobeika. Her hair was styled straight and let loose as she paired her dress with golden heels.

Her daughter Blue Ivy, meanwhile, wore a billowing, yellow patterned asymmetrical dress and matching headpiece. Beyonce shared photos of their looks that night and in a clip, her daughter was seen enthusiastically singing along to "Circle of Life".

Serving as the host, Beyonce's mom Tina posed on the red carpet with her husband Richard Lawson. She looked fierce in a feathery black dress, while Richard donned an African king-inspired outfit, complete with a headpiece and sandals.

Also attending the events were Beyonce's former Destiny's Child groupmates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams (II). Kelly opted for a black-and-white patterned shirt tucked under her blue pantsuit with cutouts on her thighs. She wore intricate accessories on her face and long earrings to match her look. As for Michelle, she donned an all-black black attire with layered tulle frock. Her hair was styled in a high ponytail as she posed with Kelly on the red carpet.

Other guests at the event included Steve Harvey and his wife Marjorie Elaine, comedienne and actress Tiffany Haddish, TV personality Star Jones, actor Daniel Kaluuya as well as director/actor Tyler Perry.

The gala raised money for the non-profit Where Art Can Occur theater center in Los Angeles, a gallery and performance space founded by Beyonce's mom and her husband Richard. This year's theme was inspired by the upcoming Disney live-action movie "The Lion King", in which Beyonce voice a character named Nala.

The movie, also features the voice of Donald Glover, Seth Rogen and James Earl Jones among others, is set to open in U.S. theaters on July 19.
