Although she doesn't go into details what have caused baby Maude's trip to the NICU days earlier, the 'Paper Roses' singer assures fans that her daughter's first child is 'doing very well.'

AceShowbiz - Marie Osmond has debuted her new granddaughter online, five days after asking fans to pray for the baby as she was admitted to the intensive care unit.

The singer's 21-year-old daughter, Brianna Blosil Schwep, welcomed a little girl last Thursday, May 23, but the newborn suffered from a mystery illness which required further treatment.

Marie took to Twitter to seek spiritual support from her 231,000 followers, and on Tuesday, she expressed her gratitude for their well wishes as she introduced fans to the latest member of her family.

"So grateful to welcome my newest #granddaughter, Brianna & (her husband) David's first child Maude Bailey-Moon Schwep into the world," the 59-year-old tweeted, alongside a black-and-white image of the baby wrapped up in a blanket.

"She is still in the hospital, but is doing very well! Thank you everyone for the prayers, it means so much to us!"

Meanwhile, Marie is set to welcome another grandchild later this year, as one of her other daughters, Rachael, is also expecting.

The family celebrated Rachael's impending arrival at a baby shower on Sunday, May 26.

Brianna and Rachael are two of Marie's eight kids from her marriage to Brian Blosil, which ended in 2007.
