Five days after the trial over the almost decade-long dispute began, MJ's estate and Tohme Tohme issue a joint statement to confirm that they have amicably come to an agreement.

AceShowbiz - Michael Jackson's estate has settled a lawsuit with the King of Pop's former manager Tohme Tohme.

Tohme sued the singer's estate back in 2012, alleging he was owed 15 percent in commission on the money Jackson made in the year before his death in 2009. He claimed he was also entitled to a cut of the revenue from the concert film "This Is It", and a finder's fee for a loan that stopped the late star's Neverland Ranch from going into foreclosure.

However, Jackson's estate argued that Tohme was terminated before the singer's death, and therefore wasn't entitled to anything. They also accused him of breaching his fiduciary duty.

The trial began on May 14, but ended just five days later, with the parties sending a joint statement to The Hollywood Reporter which read, "The Estate of Michael Jackson and Jackson's former manager, Tohme Tohme, confirm that they have amicably settled a lawsuit that had been underway in the Santa Monica Superior Court. The Estate acknowledges his efforts on Michael's behalf. The confidential settlement marks a resolution to an almost decade-long contractual dispute."
