AceShowbiz - Matthew McConaughey has finally received his high school diploma, more than 30 years after graduating.
The Oscar-winning actor was given his original diploma on Friday, May 17 when he returned to Longview High School in Texas to address the class of 2019.
The 49-year-old graduated from Longview in 1988, and cheekily responded to receiving his diploma with one simple word to the graduates: "Proof."
McConaughey, who lives in Austin, Texas with wife Camila Alves and their three children - Levi, 10, Vida, nine, and Livingston, six - told the new Longview graduates that he'd succeeded in Hollywood because he followed his heart.
