In related news, Ellen Pompeo has just inserted herself in the feud by calling out the ABC show's creator Mike Fleiss for his response to Kelly's comments and discrediting Kelly's successful.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Ripa's headline-making "The Bachelor" criticism continues to garner attention from the Bachelor Nation. After show creator Mike Fleiss and host Chris Harrison went after her for saying the ABC show was "gross," it is now the latest Bachelor who responds to the diss.

"How mad is Kelly Ripa going to be when The Bachelor wins an Emmy this year? #ThankYouForYourConsideration," the 27-year-old former professional football player wrote on Twitter on Wednesday, May 15.

He was later spotted with his fiancee Cassie Randolph at LAX on Thursday when they were asked for their opinion on the "Live with Kelly and Ryan" host. Kelly previously said in the recent episode of her talk show that the ABC dating show "disgusts me," adding, "I can't stand the idea of 25 exceptional women fighting over one ordinary fella, in my opinion. You know how I feel, ladies, we are too special to be arguing over a guy."

Colton said that Kelly was seemingly too far from modern-day dating. "It's a different way of dating, it's a different way of getting to know each other," Colton shared to TMZ. "I know it's a no secret that Kelly doesn't like the show."

He went on adding, "People have opinions. If they want to express them nowadays, they can express them."

When asked if he had a message for Kelly, Colton responded, "I like Kelly, I really do. I think she likes me, she just doesn't like 'The Bachelor', the show. I don't know, maybe to keep an open mind. It's 2019, like, let's just all spread positivity and love."

In related news, Ellen Pompeo has just inserted herself in the feud. The "Grey's Anatomy" star slammed Mike Fleiss for his response to Kelly's comments about his show. "Easy, @KellyRipa ... #TheBachelor franchise pays your salary!" he wrote.

"Okay @fleissmeister... that's some handle bro!" Ellen weighed in on the response. "Your show does NOT pay @KellyRipa salary. Also we don't attack successful women on our network and men certainly cannot take credit for their success."

She went on ripping the show and its lack of racial diversity. "Don't get me started on your show cuz I'm a savage.... #bachelorsoooowhite," she concluded her tweet.
