Celebrating the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's first born, Disney commissions a 25-second animation that sees Pooh going on a journey to hand-deliver a book to the royal baby.

AceShowbiz - Disney has given the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's newborn son a unique gift - a Winnie-the-Pooh animated film.

The 25-second film was drawn in Pooh's signature watercolours by the studio's senior principal artist Kim Raymond, and features animated versions of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The clip shows AA Milne's iconic bear hand-delivering a book to the royal baby, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, who was born on 6 May.

Pooh sets off from his home in the Hundred Acre Wood and is then seen ambling down the Long Walk to Windsor Castle with a present under his arm.

The colourful frames also show him crossing a picturesque wildflower meadow and he jumps over a little stream before he arrives at the Queen's residence.

Pooh finally arrives at Archie's cot and is pictured sitting beside animated versions of Harry and Meghan as they read the blue book with a crown on its cover to the slumbering baby.

Disney commissioned the animation for Baby Sussex as both the royals are reportedly big fans of the beloved bear.

Meghan previously shared on her lifestyle website, the Tig, which she ran prior to marrying Harry, that "The Tao of Pooh" by Benjamin Hoff was one of her favourite Pooh books. Meanwhile, Harry reportedly bought a rare first edition of the AA Milne book for his nephew Prince Louis's christening last year.

Pooh also celebrated his 90th birthday the same year as Britain's Queen Elizabeth, and the occasion was marked with another celebratory book in 2016.
