AceShowbiz - Recognized for her raspy voice and acrobatic stage presence, Pink has been named one of the best-selling singers in the world who has collected several awards and broken records throughout her career. And her milestone will grow even more with the release of her eighth studio album "Hurts 2B Human", which was released to generally positive reviews and arrived atop Billboard 200 chart.

In addition to ruling the United States' weekly chart, the album topped music charts in several countries including Australia, Canada, Belgium, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. "Hurts 2B Human" even topped the U.K. chart for two weeks, becoming her first album to spend more than one week at the top in the country. Furthermore, it was certified silver by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).

The effort's lead single, "Walk Me Home", was also greatly welcomed by both fans and casual listeners. It peaked at No. 2 on Billboard's Digital Songs chart, becoming her first song since "Setting the World on Fire" to reach this position as well as her highest-charting single as a lead artist since "Just Give Me a Reason". It additionally peaked at No. 4 on Adult Pop Songs chart.

Critical responses for the single was also positive, with music critics commending the optimistic departure from the songstress' previous singles which were usually centered around "dysfunctional" love. Rob Bailey-Millado from New York Post called "Walk Me Home" a "drum-driven" track that "rides [her] signature muscular vocals."

Talking about the inspiration behind "Hurts 2B Human" in an interview, Pink claimed that she was "a mystery bag," adding, "You put your hands in me and you have no idea what you're gonna get out. That's just how I do it. I don't believe in genres. I just believe in music and speaking your heart. I usually go on tour and stopped writing altogether but we just never stopped. I just never stopped."

Besides releasing her album, this year also saw Pink being honored with Outstanding Contribution to Music Award at the 2019 BRIT Awards as well as receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
