AceShowbiz - Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber are ready to take over the music charts with their new collaboration. After much anticipation, the frequent collaborators finally released "I Don't Care" on Thursday, May 9. The song was produced by Max Martin, Shellback and FRED.

The buoyant single finds Ed and Justin describing wanting to leave a party due to feeling lonely and having social anxiety. Fortunately, a special someone by their side saves the day and makes them feel less alone in the end. The British musician handles the first verse, before Justin takes over the second verse. The two join forces for the last two chorus.

" 'Cause I don't care when I'm with my baby, yeah/ All the bad things disappear/ Yeah, you're making me feel like maybe I am somebody," they harmonize. "I can deal with the bad nights when I'm with my baby, yeah/ 'Cause I don't care as long as you just hold me near/ You can take me anywhere."

Leading up to the release, Ed and the Canadian pop superstar constantly teased the collaboration on social media. They stared it off by posting photos of them posing in front of a green screen before sharing lyrics of the song to their devoted followers. "Hope everyone enjoys the music coming out tomorrow. I'm super happy and proud of it," Ed said of the song. "Please play the song loud, dance, sing, smile to it. And tell your mom."

"I Don't Care" marks the third collaboration between Ed and Justin. They previously teamed up for "Love Yourself" and "Cold Water", the latter of which saw them collaborating with Major Lazer. "I Don't Care" additionally marks the "Perfect" singer's first single since his 2017 album "Divide (division sign)". Meanwhile, Justin recently confirmed at Coachella that he would be releasing an album.
