AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian has once again been the subject of body-shamers who thought that her waist looked so small at the 2019 Met Gala they believed she had her ribs removed. However, her personal trailer, Melissa Alcantara, has come to her defense and noted the star worked hard to get her current look. Thus, Melissa believed Kim deserved praises rather than insults.

Sharing on Instagram Stories a picture of Kim at the annual event, Melissa started it off by noting that the fact that the dress was "corseted" might contribute to the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star's extremely tiny waist. She added, "Kim trains her a** off 6 days a f***ing week, she wakes up early af and is dedicated. 3. I paved the road for her but SHE did the work! I love compliment either way."

"MOST IMPORTANTLY," she continued. "I don't give a s**t about your opinions on her body, if you think she fake or not! I see her every morning, I see her train and I see her sweat and I see all the work she does outside of the gym and THAT is commendable."

Melissa deleted the post afterward.

For her attendance at the 2019 Met Gala, Kim wore a shimmering nude ensemble which was designed by Mugler and accentuated her famous curves. Her long raven hair was styled in wet and wavy look. She later switched up the look with a blue latex dress that was adorned with crystal embellishments for her after-party. The dress featured a plunging neckline which dipped below her belly button, as the KKW Beauty founder wore a wig made from diamonds and latex boots to complete the look.

Her after-party, which she hosted with Serena Williams at the Ups and Downs in New York, was attended by her half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Hailey Baldwin, Tiffany Haddish and Janelle Monae among others.
