The 'Curious Case of Benjamin Button' actor can't help but chuckle at a paparazzo's inquiry about rumors that he and his first ex-wife are getting back together.

AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt has finally responded to longstanding rumors that he's rekindling his relationship with Jennifer Aniston after calling it quits with Angelina Jolie. A paparazzo recently met the actor when he was walking to his car in Los Angeles, and couldn't help asking the question that many were curious to find out the answer.

The 55-year-old was dressed casually for the outing, wearing a white long-sleeve shirt under a gray shirt, black pants and his signature newsboy cap. As he approached his car, the paparazzo asked him, "I have to ask you, man. Everyone wants to know. Are you and Jen getting back [together?]" The "Moneyball" star responded, "Oh, my God!" before letting out a chuckle. He hopped into his car after telling the cameraman, "Alright, have a good one."

Brad and Jennifer, who were married from 2000 until their divorce in 2005, were reportedly back in contact after he split from his longtime partner Angelina in 2016. The former couple, who was married in August 2015, was recently officially declared single by a judge though they are not officially divorced yet. Jennifer, meanwhile, separated from her second husband Justin Theroux at the end of 2017.

Back in February, the "Ocean's Eleven" star was spotted attending the "Friends" alum's star-studded 50th birthday party at the Sunset Tower Hotel in L.A. A source described their relationship as "very civil" at the time.

"He would not have been asked to come if that weren't the case. It was a big night for Jen," the source explained. "The important people in her life gathered to celebrate with her. Brad fits into that group, and it was natural that he would want to come."

Jennifer, meanwhile, recently said that she has no time to date. "Am I on OkCupid? No. I have zero time, to be honest," she said, when asked if she was on dating apps. "My focus has been on 'The Morning Show' [her upcoming Apple series co-starring Reese Witherspoon], so dating has not been one of my first priorities," she continued.

But the "Horrible Bosses" actress didn't rule out the possibility of her finding love again, saying, "I feel like whatever [romance] looks like, it will present itself, and it's not about seeking it out, you know?" She added, "When [love] comes knocking, it's going to be welcomed. I'm not like, 'No, I'm done with that. That's never going to happen again.' "
