AceShowbiz - British actor Richard Madden is poised to join the cast of Marvel movie "The Eternals".
The former "Game of Thrones" star has been tapped to play Ikaris in director Chloe Zhao's adventure movie, which focuses on a group of near-immortal beings known as "The Eternals".
If Madden signs on, he will join Angelina Jolie and "The Big Sick" actor Kumail Nanjiani in the project, based on Jack Kirby's comic book of the same name, reports Variety.com.
A premiere date has yet to be announced, but industry experts believe "The Eternals" will be slotted into one of the eight Untitled Marvel movies Disney studio bosses have lined up for release to date, scheduling their launches from May, 2020 and running until July, 2022.
