Although being kept away from the top spot by Lil Nas X's 'Old Town Road', the new single has given the 'Delicate' singer her 57th song that reaches Top 40 on Hot 100, matching Elton John's record.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift and Brendon Urie have made history on the U.S. pop charts with the biggest jump on the countdown - ever.

The pair's hit single "ME!" has vaulted up the Billboard Hot 100 from 100 to two, only to be kept off the top by Lil Nas X's "Old Town Road", which scores a fifth week at number one.

Swift's new duet debuted at 100 last week, April 29, week based on its first three days of airplay. Its new position factors in its first week of streaming and sales.

Meanwhile, the release of Diplo's remix of Lil Nas X's country crossover hit gave it just enough to keep Swift and Urie off the top of the charts for one more week.

"ME!" is Swift's 57th top 40 Hot 100 hit, matching Elton John for fourth place on the all-time list, behind Drake (95), Lil Wayne and Elvis Presley (81 each), according to Billboard.

Post Malone's Wow drops to three, while Jonas Brothers' "Sucker" rises to four.
