AceShowbiz - Bruce Springsteen stunned fans in Beverly Hills, California on Saturday night, May 04, by joining his longtime band member Steven Van Zandt onstage for a surprise jam session.

Van Zandt was performing with his band, Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul, at the Saban Theater to celebrate the release of their new album, "Summer of Sorcery", when he introduced a familiar face to the audience.

Members of the crowd burst into cheers and applause as Springsteen stepped into the limelight and rocked out with his old E Street Band sidekick for a rendition of "Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out", on which the "Born to Run" icon gave his close pal a shout out in place of his usual tip of the hat to the late Clarence Clemons.

They also delivered their anti-Apartheid anthem Sun City, and a cover of "I Don't Want to Go Home", originally written by Van Zandt and recorded by Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes.
