In his response to Aryn Drake-Lee's appeal to get $200,000 from him to cover her legal bills, the 'Grey's Anatomy' actor points out that he already supported her $100,000 a month.

AceShowbiz - "Grey's Anatomy" star Jesse Williams has asked a U.S. judge to shut down his estranged wife's request for $200,000 (£153,500) to cover her legal fees in their ongoing divorce.

The actor has been locked in a bitter court battle with Aryn Drake-Lee, the mother of his young kids Sadie and Maceo, ever since they separated in 2017 after five years of marriage, and they are due to head to trial in September to hash out the terms of their divorce settlement.

However, the pair has continued to fight over financial matters, with Drake-Lee recently seeking more money from her ex to help cover her legal bills as they prepare for the trial, with $100,000 (£76,750) going to her lawyer, and the balance paid to a forensic accountant used to help build her case.

Williams has now responded to the request with his own legal filing, insisting Drake-Lee should find another way to come up with the funds after previously contributing $270,000 (£207,200) towards her other court costs.

In his paperwork, obtained by The Blast, he points out that she already receives $100,000 a month from him in support, which he believes has been spent on artwork instead of being used to pay her lawyers.

The actor wants the judge to dismiss her motion and order his ex to cover her own future bills.
