AceShowbiz - Civil exes may not be the best word to describe Nick Viall and Kaitlyn Bristowe. The two have been doing back and forth online with Nick recently clapping back at Kaitlyn who dissed him in an interview.

This all went down after the former "The Bachelorette" star joined fellow the show's alums Trista Sutter, Jillian Harris, Ali Feditowsky, Emily Maynard and Desiree Hartsock in a fun "Bachelorette" word association game. In the game, they were asked to say the first thing that came to mind when they heard the words, "The Right Reasons."

While the game had nothing to with Nick, Kaitlyn somehow managed to make it like it did as she dissed her ex-boyfriend in the process. "Not Nick Viall," the "Off the Vine" podcast host answered confidently.

It didn't take long for Nick to respond to the comment. "@Kaitlynbristowe dms me two weeks into filming.. asks me to show up," the 38-year-old said. "Picks someone else. Makes jokes post show at my expense in national interviews to cover own ass. 3 years later…..same ole."

The "Coop" actor referred to his stint in Kaitlyn's season of "The Bachelorette". Nick made it to the final but got rejected after Kaitlyn accepted Shawn Booth's proposal instead.

The former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant previously said on his podcast "The Viall Fiels" that Kaitlyn invited him to stay in the competition following his shocking debut in her season. Nick continued revealing that they spent the night together in her NYC hotel room. "It was a lot of fun. We did not have sex," he shared.
