AceShowbiz - XXXTENTACION's mother is going to war with the late rapper's girlfriend over her bid to confirm her baby's paternity.
Jenesis Sanchez, who lived with the "Sad!" star in the months before his death last June (2018), recently filed a petition in Florida to obtain a sample of XXXTENTACION's DNA so she could legally determine the parentage of her two-month-old son Gekyume Onfroy.
In her court papers, she claimed the couple had been engaging in "sexual relations during the time that Gekyume was conceived from February 19 through June 18, 2018, the day of the Decedent's death," and although no one has contested the child's paternity, she wants to make it official.
However, XXXTENTACION's mum, Cleopatra Bernard, is fighting Sanchez's motion, and has asked court officials to have her case dismissed, reports The Blast.
The reason for her request has not been made public, as Bernard managed to have her filings sealed for privacy, but Sanchez is reportedly seeking the DNA test so Gekyume can be established as an heir to his dad's lucrative estate.
XXXTENTACION, real name Jahseh Onfroy, was murdered in a drive-by shooting outside a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida last summer. He was just 20 years old.
