AceShowbiz - Even though Gwen Stefani tried her best to look good when she attended the 2019 ACM Awards with boyfriend Blake Shelton, many people apparently were not a fan. After she posted a picture of herself inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena, some even ended up accusing the No Doubt singer of going under the knife because they thought she looked "unrecognizable" that night.
The image, which was posted on Monday, April 8, featured Gwen flashing a bright smile in her sparkling outfit, thanking hairstylist Danilo for giving her "Barbie hair" for the annual event. While the blonde beauty intended to put the focus on her hair, many apparently couldn't help but point out at her face, which they thought looked different. This prompted people to speculate that she might have gotten plastic surgery, with some slamming her for that.
"Chill on the surgery," one wrote in the comment section while one believed that she got a lip injection as saying, "We all notice the lip injections have gone a little too far. Of course you can do what you wish, but those that wish you well, think there is loveliness in a more natural look." One other echoed the sentiment, "Omg your lips... gosh please dont change your lips ...anymore you're so beautiful without the fake crap."
Someone else didn't even hold back by writing, "She looks like horrible, like a clown. All of this plastic surgeries are creating monsters." One individual asked, "Wtf have you done to your face?!" There was also one person who simply said, "Plastic af."
Gwen has yet to comment on the accusation.
Despite the accusation, Gwen seemed to be having a good time throughout the ceremony. She could even been seen laughing when host Reba McEntire called out Blake, who used to co-host the event with the veteran songstress. "You used to need me to help you do this. And God knows Luke [Bryan] did," he joked in response. "I just figured I would just -- you good?"
