After inspecting the 'Dive' hitmaker's property in response to raised-concern by neighbors, a council spokesperson assures 'no evidence' has been found that 'the planning conditions had been broken.'

AceShowbiz - Ed Sheeran has been cleared by authorities investigating whether he planned to use a proposed wildlife pond at his English country estate as as a swimming pool.
The "Dive" hitmaker's plans to build the watery haven on his estate, situated near his hometown of Framlingham in East Suffolk, England, were approved in 2016, with work on a jetty and equipment shed given the go-ahead last year (18).
Neighbours complained the new additions to the pond suggested he was planning to turn the water feature into a swimming pool and demanded Suffolk Coastal District Council officials look into the matter. They have now visited Ed's property and found nothing untoward in his plans.
"As a result of the concerns raised, Suffolk Coastal's Planning Enforcement Team visited the premises," a council spokesperson told WENN. "There was no evidence that it is not a wildlife pond, as plants are growing in and around it, or that the planning conditions had been broken. We will continue to monitor the situation."
One of his neighbours, Tony Robinson wrote to the council complaining the proposals were intended to create, "an environment for a 'wild lifestyle' rather than actual wild life'," however, in his application Ed's planning consultants claim the jetty and shed to enable maintenance of the pond.
The 28-year-old singer-songwriter previously fell foul of local planning officials last year, as they blocked his plans to build a huge Saxon chapel on his land as it would have not been in keeping with the local landscape.
As well as his extensive home improvements, Ed has reportedly ploughed $55.2 million (£42 million) of his musical fortune into the London property market, and is also planning to open a music bar in west London with his manager.
