In related news, HBO has prepared a special quest for fans in order to further hype the forthcoming season of the hit series.

AceShowbiz - Maisie Williams has shared some details about upcoming season 8 of "Game of Thrones". The new details are seemingly not something fans will be happy about, though it's somehow expected.

"There's a lot of death this year," the Arya Stark depicter reveals in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. The 21-year-old actress further shares that the final season, which is set to premiere on April 14 on HBO, features so many references to its first season.

"After reading the scripts I went back and watched season 1 again because so much of it refers back to that season," Maisie says. "There are so many scenes that will look similar. And also I watched just to remind myself of the arc I've taken already. I wanted Arya to go full circle and try for some kind of normalcy like when she was younger."

Additionally, the British star teases a closer bond between her and co-star Sophie Turner's characters. The last season saw Arya and Sansa Stark reuniting and it seems like fans will be seeing more of them together in the highly-anticipated season.

"It's not often you see a character siding with Sansa who's not manipulating her," Williams shares. "Last season it was really tough for Sansa because Jon was thinking with his penis and it kind of made Sansa look bitter. This season you see Arya teaming with Sansa and sometimes calling out Jon. It felt nice and powerful to stand next to Sophie. Sophie and I are the tightest of friends when sitting across from anyone, so no acting required."

As for the ending, Maisie muses, "People don't want it to end. No matter how you end it, people don't want it to end. So the ending is not going to be okay, because 'the end' is not okay. You know what I mean? I think the way we end it is right. And I think it's time."

In related news, in order to further hype the forthcoming season of the hit series, HBO has prepared something special for fans. The network has hidden six real-life Iron Thrones around the world and it doesn't take long for some eagle-eyed fans to find some of them.

HBO gives hints to the fans through 360-degree YouTube videos which are uploaded on the official For the Throne website. However, the network only provides videos for five of the iron thrones as the sixth mysterious throne is seen shrouded in mist somewhere unknown.

Fans have found four of the thrones so far. One of them, Throne of the North, is hidden in Bjorkliden, Sweden. The Thrones of the Forest is found in Puzzlewood, England. Meanwhile, the Throne of Valyria and the Throne of Joy are located in Beberibe, Brazil and Atienza, Spain respectively.

A fan also shared on Twitter a photo of herself sitting on the Throne of Joy.

Fans still have over eight days to finish the quest.
