Prior to her hospitalization, the 'Modern Family' actress revealed on Instagram Stories that she was battling a fever.

AceShowbiz - It looks like Sarah Hyland is feeling under the weather this week as she has been admitted to a hospital. The "Modern Family" actress took to Instagram Stories on Thursday night, March 21 to share a snap of herself lying on a hospital bed.

Despite her hospitalization, Sarah apparently wouldn't let that ruin her skincare routine as she was seen in the photo sporting a face mask underneath her glasses. Having just cut her brunette locks, she styled her hair with an orange bandana. "Always bring face masks and a silk pillow to the hospital," she wrote along with the image.

It's unclear why Sarah found herself back at the hospital since her rep did not immediately respond to request for comment. However, prior to sharing the photo, the "Lipstick Jungle" alum revealed that she was battling a fever. "101.4," she captioned a selfie of herself, adding a sick emoji.

This is the second time Sarah was hospitalized in less than a year. Back in July, she opened up about her hospitalization through an Instagram Stories selfie. "Sometimes a selfie is more than just a good angle or feeling cute. This time for #NationalSelfieDay, I've decided to share my truth. As painful as it is," she captioned a picture of her swollen face. "So here is my face that was torn from work against my will. But I'm very grateful it was. Health should always come first."

Sarah has been vocal about her struggles with health issues. Last December, she admitted that she was contemplating suicide due to her kidney transplants. "After 26, 27 years of just always being sick and in chronic pain every single day, and you don't know when you're going to have the next good day," she said at the time. "It's really, really hard. I would write letters in my head to loved ones of why I did it, my reasoning behind it, how it was nobody's fault because I didn't want to write it down on paper because I didn't want anybody to find it because that's how serious it was."
