One of the 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star's friends claims that postponing the wedding date is the expecting TV personality's idea.

AceShowbiz - Porsha Williams seemingly will not be walking down the aisle anytime soon. A new report suggests that "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star and fiance Dennis McKinley forgo their planned summer wedding.

According to the heavily pregnant TV star's friend, Porsha and Dennis are postponing their wedding until "at least January 2020." One of her friends from the Bravo TV show claims that postponing the wedding date is all Porsha's idea.

However, rest assured. The reason behind the push back is not because the couple has issues or some sorts. If anything, the expecting star allegedly wants to look her best during the big day. "Porsha told us that she wants to lose all the baby weight before the wedding, and she's saying it will take her at least 9 months," the pal tells MTO News.

The insider continues saying, "But I think she's getting some cold feet about getting married. Everything happened so fast, they haven't even known each other a year."

"Porsha may look like a dummy on TV but she's not. She's going to let [Dennis] show himself before she gets married," adds the source.

Additionally, it seems like Porsha is aiming to get her wedding aired as the final episode of upcoming season of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta". It is said that the filming for the next season will wrap up in January 2020.

Last month, the star announced that she had been taking maternity leave. "Love all my @dishnation babies see you soon. Thank you for all the love and support!!" Porsha wrote in the caption alongside a clip, which saw her telling her co-hosts that she would miss them as they happily presented her with a gift for the baby girl that should be on her way any day now.

Porsha announced that she's expecting her first child with fiance Dennis McKinley in September 2018, revealing that she had mixed feelings about it because of previous miscarriage. However, she admitted she could have a peace of mind because her man was fully supportive. "It's like a dream come true. I believe he's probably shed more tears during the process than me. It's just the sweetest moment of my life right now," she said at the time.
