AceShowbiz - Billie Eilish has treated her fans to a music video for a single off her forthcoming effort. Titled "You Should See Me in a Crown", the bewitching visuals made its way out on Monday, March 18 exclusively on Apple Music and was produced by Japanese contemporary artist Takashi Murakami.

The visuals sees Billie's signature BLOHSH character looking over a city before she turns into a giant spider that tears the city apart. The song itself finds her singing about an ego boost and acknowledgment of her newfound celebrity status. "You should see me in a crown/ I'm gonna run this nothing town," she sings. "Watch me make 'em bow/ One by, one by one/ One by, one by."

In a statement accompanying the music video's release, Takashi stated that it took him 8 months to work on the visuals. "I sprinted throughout the production process with my animation team striving to realize Billie's vision in an unprecedented way." Billie added, "Murakami is an incredible visionary. It was such an honor to collaborate with him and have our brains and our words collide for this video."

"You Should See Me in a Crown" was first premiered on July 18, 2018 and serves as the lead single off her debut album "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?". The song's title was inspired by a scene from the third episode of "Sherlock" season 2 titled "The Reichenbach Falls". In the episode, Jim Moriarty (Andrew Scott) said, "...Honey, you should see me in a crown."

"We wrote this song 'cause of 'Sherlock', actually, 'case there's a scene where Jim Moriarty says, 'You should see me in a crown' and me and my brother were like, 'Hey, that's jiggy as f**k,' " Billie said of the song. "Then we just sorta made the song about being jiggy I guess, and you should see me in a crown, so there it is."

"When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" is set for a March 29 release.
