Additionally, they have their own office at Buckingham Palace, which means they will no longer share their office with Prince William and Kate Middleton.

AceShowbiz - It's official now. Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle have officially split royal households from Prince William and Kate Middleton, Buckingham Palace confirmed on Thursday, March 14.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be leaving their two-bedroom cottage at Kensington Palace this spring to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor Castle, where their staff will be based. Additionally, they have their own office at Buckingham Palace, which means they will no longer share their office with William and Kate.

"The Queen has agreed to the creation of a new Household for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, following their marriage in May last year. The Household, which will be created with the support of The Queen and The Prince of Wales, will be established in the spring," a statement from the palace read.

"The Duke of Sussex currently has his own private office, which has been supporting The Duchess since Their Royal Highness's engagement in November 2017," the statement continued. "This long-planned move will ensure that permanent support arrangements for The Duke and Duchess's work are in place as they start their family and move to their official residence at Frogmore Cottage."

"The Queen has given permission for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex to base their Household Office at Buckingham Palace," added the statement. "The Royal Highness will appoint new communications staff, who will form part of the Buckingham Palace communications team and report to The Queen's Communications Secretary, Donal McCabe."

According to a source, Meghan is set to slow down her schedule ahead of her baby's arrival. "She'll be preparing for her maternity leave," the source reveals to Entertainment Tonight. "The couple is expected to move into Frogmore relatively soon, again so they can be settled before the baby comes."

It is said that both Meghan and Harry are "really excited" for the baby. The royal baby's future uncle and aunt, William and Kate, are also equally excited.
