Arielle Kebbel to Tackle Angelina Jolie's 'Bone Collector' Character on New TV Series

Coming on board the Seth Gordon-directed drama titled 'Lincoln', the 'Life Unexpected' actress will star opposite 'Grimm' actor Russell Hornsby.

AceShowbiz - Actress Arielle Kebbel has signed on to take on the literary role Angelina Jolie brought to life on the big screen for a new TV series.

She'll play the female lead opposite Russell Hornsby in "Lincoln", NBC's drama pilot based on "The Bone Collector" bestselling book series by Jeffery Deaver.

Hornsby title character, Lincoln Rhyme, was portrayed by Denzel Washington in the 1999 movie "The Bone Collector".

Kebbel's cop character, Amelia Sachs, was renamed Amelia Donaghy for the Jolie film.

Seth Gordon will direct the pilot, which will also feature former "The Sopranos" star Michael Imperioli.

Kebbel recently appeared in supernatural drama series "Midnight, Texas", and featured in "Fifty Shades Freed". She will also pop up in Eva Longoria's upcoming TV drama series "Grand Hotel".
