Louis Tomlinson Fears Negative Influence the Kardashians Brings to Younger Sisters
Celebrity

Admitting he is not the biggest fan of Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and the rest of the Kardashian family, the One Direction member explains he doesn't understand why 'people are so drawn to them.'

AceShowbiz - Louis Tomlinson would like to ban his younger sisters from watching anything Kardashian related as he fears they're a bad influence.

The British popstar has been a teen heartthrob for nearly a decade, but believes the extended Kardashian family, who include sisters Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kourtney Kardashian, as well as younger members Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner, have an influence on young women that dwarfs his own.

He tells Britain's Metro newspaper: "You see the power and influence, It's like One Direction on steroids times a million."

Louis says he gets upset by the influence they have on his younger sisters Charlotte, 20, Felicitie, 18, 14-year-old twins Phoebe and Daisy. He also has another sister, Doris, who is five, and a twin sibling to his brother Ernest from his mum's marriage to third husband Daniel Deakin. His estranged father has a daughter Georgia Austin, also 20, who he does not have a relationship with.

"I am not the biggest fan," he explains. "I have younger sisters. I get a bit lost in trying to find why people are so drawn to them. The influence and how much time people spend on them is something I am very conscious of as a brother."

Kylie has used her fame to become one of the world's youngest billionaires, as fans have flocked to buy items from her cosmetics line, Kendall has become a sought after model. The three elder Kardashian sisters and their mum Kris Jenner will star in the 16th series of their reality show, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" later this year.

Despite their success, Louis feels the family's fame should have been, "used in a better way" than marketing their brand to impressionable teens and young adults.

Louis, 27, and his sisters lost their mum Johannah in 2016, and he has now co-written a song in tribute, titled "Two of Us". The star admits to delaying addressing his feelings in his music until now, but says the experience has been, "liberating".

"Two of Us" was released on Thursday, March 07.
