Angered by the former 'America's Got Talent' judge's comment about the label given to Kylie by Forbes, the One Direction member calls him attention seeker and 'irrelevant.'

AceShowbiz - Liam Payne faced off with British newsman Piers Morgan via Twitter on Wednesday, March 06 over remarks the journalist made about Kylie Jenner.

Piers tweeted about Kylie becoming the youngest self-made billionaire, according to Forbes, insisting he had a problem with the wording of the title.

"It's not self-made," he insisted. "it's because her sister (Kim Kardashian) made a sex tape".

Liam was irked by Morgan's comment and responded, writing: "I'm sorry but piers are you crazy your only here cuz you talk s**t about everyone and make controversial outbursts about people to get attention (sic).

"at least @KylieJenner has her own business she built herself why not congratulate someone for once instead of knocking people".

Morgan refused to let the matter lie and fired back: "Hi Liam, a) She didn't 'build herself', she became rich & famous from her sister's sex tape. b) It's 'you're'".

And Liam wasn't about to take the high road either, responding: "Sorry could you say it louder from the back of the line of irrelevant people please".

"Mate, no offence but I really wouldn't play the relevancy card right now," Piers shot back, suggesting his new Twitter rival is not as relevant as he was when he was a member of boy band One Direction.
