'I hope you don't jump right in and start having two and three and four kids right away,' the 56-year-old actor says to the married couple.

AceShowbiz - Billy Baldwin has advised his niece Hailey Baldwin and her new husband Justin Bieber to spend a few years bonding as a couple before starting a family.

The 22-year-old model secretly tied the knot with pop superstar Justin in a New York City courthouse ceremony back in September (2018), less than two months after becoming engaged following a whirlwind romance.

The young lovers are said to be planning a bigger celebration for friends and family members, and now Hailey's Uncle Billy has revealed the piece of advice he offered to the newlyweds, to ensure they build a foundation for a long future together.

"I've said to them, 'I hope you don't jump right in and start having two and three and four kids right away'," he told Us Weekly, noting how he himself had waited until later in life to become a dad.

"I just hope that they have the next few years together where they can rampage and just globe trot and just tear it up and have fun."

During the chat, Billy also admitted he was as surprised as everyone else when he learned Hailey and Justin, who turned 25 on Friday, March 01, had rushed to make their union official, because it's not what he would have wanted for the pair, even though he couldn't be happier for the stars.

"I love them as a couple and I would've loved to see them get married if they waited a couple more years," the 56 year old shared. "Maybe that would have been better, but they didn't want to wait because they're both devout in their faith and... that wasn't the right fit for them so that's really none of my business."

Hailey is the daughter of Billy's younger brother Stephen Baldwin.
