Having met with heavy criticism for her Hello Bello commercial, 'The Good Place' actress insists that her decision to keep her children out of the spotlight is important for their protection.

AceShowbiz - Kristen Bell is firing back after critics slammed her for "exploiting" a child in a commercial for her new baby brand Hello Bello.

The actress' new ad for the company's organic diapers, which dropped on Instagram on Tuesday, February 26, didn't impress some viewers, who attacked her for shaming an infant.

"This is Jordan. Jordan s**ts her pants," "The Good Place" star said in the video, prompting a flood of angry responses from Instagram users, who accused the 38-year-old of exploiting kids while keeping her daughters with husband Dax Shepard out of the spotlight.

"So your kids deserve privacy but you don't mind exploiting other people's children for monetary gain?" read one comment.

Bell, who has been vocal about protecting her kids from media scrutiny, quickly explained her decision.

"If (Dax and I) expose our kids' faces, there is a real threat of them getting stalked, or of a stranger coming up to them and knowing their name," she said in a response to the commenter. "It's a safety thing.

"I don't fault other parents for showing their kids when they don't have the same safety concerns. And Jordan is not the little girl's real name, FYI."

Bell and Shepard launched their lifestyle venture earlier this week, ends March 03, revealing they have teamed with U.S. retail giant Walmart to sell the Hello Bello range of affordable, plant-based items, including diapers, wet wipes, shampoo and body wash, baby lotion, and bug spray.

"As a mum of two, I know how beautifully messy parenthood can be, and that's why we created Hello Bello - a line of premium, super-effective baby care products to take care of your kids from head to butt to toe," Bell said in a press release.
