The 'Chicago Fire' star liked a comment shading his former fiancee, but quickly clarifies that it wasn't his intention.

While people thought that he's a bit bitter about his ex-fiancee amid talks about her intimate Oscars duet with Bradley Cooper, the "Chicago Fire" star assures that he has nothing but love for her.
The 37-year-old sparked speculation that there's bad blood between him and GaGa after he liked a comment shading the "A Star Is Born" actress. On a photo he posted on Instagram showing him with retired hockey star Bryan Bickellon, a follower who is apparently not a fan of the "Bad Romance" singer wrote, "Stoked you got away from Gaga."
Kinney liked the comment dissing his ex, but he later clarified that it was a mistake. "Sorry for 'like'. It was an accident," he wrote in the comment section, adding, "I'm only proud and happy for Stef." GaGa's real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta.
GaGa and Kinney dated on-and-off since 2011 after they met on the set of her "You and I" music video, in which he played her love interest. They got engaged on Valentine's Day 2015, but called it quits in July 2016. The exes have shown support for each other despite their split, with Kinney saying in October 2018 that he "couldn't be more proud" of "A Star Is Born" success.
The Oscar-winning songwriter went on dating talent agent Christian Carino and got engaged in 2018 after a year of dating. They recently called off their engagement.
In her 2017 Netflix documentary "Lady Gaga: Five Foot Two", the 32-year-old singer/actress said that her career success comes with a blow in her personal life. "My love life has just imploded," she said in the film. "I sold 10 million [records] and lost Matt. I sold 30 million and lost Luc. I did a movie and lose Taylor. It's like a turnover. This is the third time I've had my heart broken like this."
