Theron plays the Secretary of State and Rogen stars as her former admirer in the comedy movie, which is dubbed the reverse version of 'Pretty Woman'.

AceShowbiz - Charlize Theron and Seth Rogen are unlikely couple in "Long Shot (2019)", which has just released its first trailer. Making its way out online, the video teases the unique relationship between Theron's Charlotte Field, the current U.S. Secretary of State, and Rogen's Fred Flarsky, a hard-hitting political writer.

Now one of the most powerful persons in the United States, Field reunites with Flarsky, whom she used to babysit for. An unemployed writer with quirky personality, he used to have a crush on Field. Hilarity quickly ensues at their fateful reunion as Field falls down a staircase and lands hard on his face, before being escorted out of the party.

As Field announces her run for president, she hires Flarsky to sharpen up her speeches. They spend time together as Flarsky needs to get to know Field better. He quizzes the presidential nominee on her favorite childhood book, favorite song and most embarrassing moment.

Their professional relationship soon turns romantic as they're involved in a high risk situation. "We did almost just die," Field says after an explosion near their place. The two lean in to kiss, but get interrupted by a security guard.

Flarksy's friend (O'shea Jackson Jr.) likens their relationship to "Pretty Woman", "but she's Richard Gere and you're Julia Roberts," so he tells Flarsky. As romance blossoms between the two, Field's key staffer compares the relationship to if Kate Middleton and Danny DeVito were an item to find out public's reactions.

Field and Flarksy are also seen partying together, with the politician dressing in casual outfit. In the middle of the dance floor, Field is informed that there is a "situation" she has to deal with. Appearing to get high, she responds, "I'm in so much trouble," before her team escorts her and Flarksy out of the party.

Directed by Jonathan Levine, the comedy is written by Dan Sterling and Liz Hannah. Alexander Skarsgard, Randall Park, Bob Odenkirk and Andy Serkis round out the cast of the movie, which is set to bow in the U.S. on May 3. It will have its premiere at South by Southwest on March 9.
