The video also sees the Snow Queen, Anna and Kristoff journeying across the borders of Arendelle.

AceShowbiz - The first teaser trailer for the long-awaited "Frozen 2" is finally here for fans' viewing pleasure. Making its way out online, the video that clocks in almost two minutes shares very little of the plotline, but is enough to quench the thirst of moviegoers who have been waiting for the return of Elsa and the gang.

In the video, Elsa is seen braving the storm to cross the ocean late in the night for an unknown reason. She is possibly trying to see what's on the other side of the sea or just challenging herself to test the limits of her power and skills.

In another scene, Anna seems to be surprised by the falling snowflakes, which each contains a different mysterious symbol like the ones seen in the movie's teaser poster.

The trailer teases Elsa, Anna and Kristoff's journey across the borders of Arendelle as they are seen being enchanted by an autumnal landscape in front of them. Anna is also seen jumping off a cliff, and Elsa is using her power to protect herself and Olaf from something unseen. Kristoff, meanwhile, is featured riding Sven and leading a herd of reindeer through a forest.

The video additionally introduces two new characters in the woods. One of them seems to have the ability to control the wind, using the falling leaves to throw her up in the air.

The official synopsis for "Frozen 2" has not been released yet. Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad return to voice their respective characters. Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown are added to the cast, but their roles are still kept under wraps.

Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee return as directors for the sequel, which will feature new songs from award-winning songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. Lee and Allison Schroeder ("Hidden Figures") team up to write the script, with Peter Del Vecho returning as producer.

The animated musical film is slated to open in theaters across the nation on November 22.

"Frozen (2013)" was a huge hit at box office, earning $1.276 billion worldwide. It ranks as the highest-grossing animated film of all time and the highest-grossing film of 2013. The sequel was officially announced in March 2015.
