In a taped interview with Glamour magazine, the 'Girls Trip' star reveals that she sings a song at the end of her audio book, 'The Last Black Unicorn', and spills on who she looks to collaborate with.

AceShowbiz - Actress Tiffany Haddish is expanding her talents into music by recording an album.

The "Girls Trip" star explains she was inspired to start thinking about recording music after she was nominated for the Spoken Word Album Grammy Award for her book "The Last Black Unicorn" this year.

"Granted, most of this album has already happened in my head but that's how it starts," she tells Glamour magazine. "It all starts in here and then it comes out and I've been talking to people."

"If you heard at the end of the audio book, there's a song that I sang, and this is before I took vocal lessons. I got nominated for a Grammy, not for that song but for the book, for the audio book. I didn't know you could get nominated for reading into a tape recorder, but you can!"

"I'm really excited about that and it really inspired me, like, 'Wow if I can nominate (sic) for a Grammy for telling my truth, what can I get if I really just apply myself and my vocal skills?'" she continues. "I'm going to see what happens. It might be really great, it might not but who cares, right? You've got to give it a shot."

Tiffany has already started thinking about guests for the project and who she wants to collaborate with.

"It will probably be the 'She Ready' album or 'The She Ready Experience' or 'The We Ready Album'," she says. "Whatever, it's going to be ready."

"I'm trying to get (Cardi B) on a couple of tracks," she adds.

The "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker became the first female artist to pick up the Best Rap Album Grammy Award on Sunday, February 10.
