In support of Jeff Bezos' revelation that he was targeted by American Media Inc. and CEO David Pecker, the 'Deadpool 2' actor claims that the company went as far as 'creating fake receipts.'

AceShowbiz - Terry Crews has claimed he was blackmailed by the owner of U.S. publication National Enquirer over false reports he used prostitutes.
The "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star shared his experience in support of Amazon boss Jeff Bezos, who recently revealed he was targeted by American Media Inc (AMI) and CEO David Pecker.
Bezos claims the National Enquirer, which is owned by AMI, threatened to publish a nude photo of him if he didn't stop probing the magazine's exposure of his affair and publicly admit that the reporting was in no way "politically motivated."
Crews took to Twitter and told his fans and followers that he was targeted by AMI and Pecker after he launched legal action against his former agent Adam Venit, who he accused of groping him, and the William Morris Endeavor agency in 2017.
"This same company, AMI, tried to silence me in my lawsuit against @wme and Adam Venit by fabricating stories of me with prostitutes – and even went so far as creating fake receipts," the actor stated. "I called their bluff by releasing their threats online. They blinked."

Crews later shared tweets from 2017, in which he accused Radar Online of contacting him via email over the story.
"@radaronline threatened me w/ a false story abt (about) me hiring 2 hookers at the 2015 Monte Carlo TV Festival. It never went 2 press because it was a lie," Crews wrote. "This was not a coincidence. I told u they were coming 4 me. I also told you I am ready."

Journalist Ronan Farrow was also among those who accused AMI and Pecker of blackmail. He said he and at least one other "prominent journalist involved in breaking stories about the National Enquirer's arrangement with Trump fielded similar 'stop digging or we'll ruin you' blackmail efforts from AMI.' "
AMI and the National Enquirer deny any wrongdoing.
