British best-selling author Katie Nicholl said that 'William was quite concerned that the relationship had moved so quickly.'

AceShowbiz - Many people flooded Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with support when they went public with their relationship in 2016 before eventually getting married in May 2018. However, a new report claims that his brother Prince William was thinking that he moved too quick with their relationship, making Harry think that the Duke of Cambridge was not being supportive.

In Tuesday, February 5 episode of TLC's documentary "Kate V. Meghan: Princesses at War?", British best-selling author Katie Nicholl said that "William was quite concerned that the relationship had moved so quickly." She added, "And being close to Harry, you know, probably the only person close enough to say to Harry, 'This seems to be moving quickly. Are you sure?' And I think what was meant as well-intended brotherly advice just riled Harry."

The author went on noting that Harry "is hugely protective" of the former "Suits" actress. "He saw that as criticism, he interpreted that as his brother not really being behind this marriage, this union. And I don’t think things have been quite right ever since," she explained.

Meanwhile, Lady Colin Campbell added that Harry had changed ever since he's together with Meghan, who is currently pregnant with their first child. The controversial royal commentator, who alleged that she had insider knowledge of the British royal family, claimed, "Everything I hear is that Harry is completely beguiled by Meghan and completely enthralled to her."

"[Harry] has changed considerably," continued Campbell. "People do change when they get married."

"Before Harry met Meg, he was around Kensington Palace," royal biographer Ingrid Seward added. "He was eating with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. He was very much a part of their family. Then suddenly he meets Meghan and falls in love and he's off. So he's sort of suddenly out of their lives. And there may have been some resentment."

It remains to be seen whether the claims hold any truth on them. During Harry and Meghan's May 19, 2018 nuptials, William served as Harry's best man at the latter's request. The two princes also shared several sweet moments throughout the ceremony.
