AceShowbiz - It hasn't even been a year since YFN Lucci and Reginae Carter started dating, but it appears the two have called it quits. Rumors of their split first sparked last week, and the couple might have confirmed the speculation with a post they shared on social media.
It all started after Reginae shared a tweet about hating men who are too "friendly." She followed it up with an Instagram Stories post which read, "Let him go, keep yourself." The daughter of Toya Wright and Lil Wayne added, "I will do exactly that." Fueling the speculation, the two made separate Super Bowl party appearances.

Although Reginae's post didn't confirm that they split, Lucci seemingly validated the speculation with a post on Instagram. Alongside a picture of him looking down on the ground, the 27-year-old rapper wrote, "LOVE is just a word it don't matter to me #FREE21."
Shortly after Lucci shared the post, Reginae took to Twitter to throw some subliminal shots at the rapper in response to his message. "Alexa play 'how to love' by Lil Wayne. Thx," the 20-year-old wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Things between the pair, who have been dating for nearly a year, have been slightly rocky over the past few months. Reginae said in late December that they decide to "cool it down" a little bit, revealing the reason in an episode of "T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle".
"We were kind of going through something and the world [had] seen it on social media," she said. "So, it was a lot going on that's why I barely could talk about this right now. But I gotta zip it on up, 'cause I have to go on set and I have to work and do what I love and do what's going to make me my coins."
