Since Atlanta police could not determine 'the primary aggressor' of the February 2 fight, Leslie Holden of 'Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta' is also facing the same charge as the 'Let Me Hold You' hitmaker.

AceShowbiz - Bow Wow has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman.

The rapper, who now goes by his birth name Shad Moss, was detained by officers on Saturday, February 02 in Atlanta, after his on-again/off-again girlfriend Leslie Holden called police.

According to TMZ, the 31-year-old has been charged with "battery substantial physical harm," despite telling officers that Holden had assaulted him.

The "Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta" star claimed she had been assaulted by the "Let Me Hold You" hitmaker, and is facing the same battery charge as Moss. Her bond has been set at $8,000 (£6,100).

Moss has been released on bond, editors at TMZ have reported.

He was spotted shortly before his arrest at a pre-Super Bowl event hosted by Shaquille O'Neal.

"Both parties did sustain visible minor injuries. Officers were unable to determine the primary aggressor of the altercation, so both parties were charged with battery," a police spokesperson said in a statement. "Both parties are being processed and will be transported to Fulton County Jail."

The investigation is ongoing.
