During an appearance on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers', the 'Serenity' actress recalls the time her two-year-old son met Camila Alves when she brought him to shooting location in Mauritius.

AceShowbiz - Anne Hathaway's young son has a crush on Matthew McConaughey's wife Camila Alves.

The actress made an appearance on "Late Night with Seth Meyers" on Wednesday night (January 23) to promote her new thriller "Serenity (2019)", in which she plays Karen, the ex-wife of Matthew's fishing captain character Baker Dill.

During the chat, Anne explained that it was a dream to shoot the film in the beautiful island locale of Mauritius, and that her two-year-old son Jonathan thought they had somehow landed in the setting of 2016 animated Disney movie "Moana", which tells of the story of a strong-willed girl who goes on a journey away from her Polynesian village.

"He was really into Moana at the time. My son had a crush on Moana, and we took him to Mauritius which is paradise, it's so beautiful," she said. "And so, I think he thought that we were in Motunui, and I don't know if you've ever seen a picture of Matthew McConaughey's wife, but she is the most drop dead gorgeous Brazilian woman, and she kinda looks like Moana. So, my son was like, 'What is happening? What is this crystal ocean and her (Camila)?' And so, Camila would come around and my son would just get this (dreamy) look on his face and I realised he was completely in love with her."

Elsewhere in the interview, Anne spoke about how she brought along a book to read between takes on the shoot. Though she now regrets also bringing a Nespresso coffee machine along with her one day, as the crew on the set had to get a "massive generator" in order to run it.

"This nice thing I wanted to do for everyone turned into the biggest diva request of all. I was so embarrassed!" the 36-year-old sighed.
