AceShowbiz - More details of the final season of "Game of Thrones" have emerged online. Ahead of the premiere of its eighth and final season, the possible approximate runtimes for each of the season's six episode have been revealed.
Coming via entertainment news site Premiere, the information was revealed at French network OCS' press event for upcoming programming for the year. Through its Twitter account, the site live-tweeted the alleged runtimes of the final six episodes of the hit HBO series. Should the report be true, the last four episodes are poised to be longer than the average episode.
According to the new report, the first two episodes of the much-anticipated season are set to run at 60 minutes each. Meanwhile, the rest episodes are running 20 minutes longer as they are clocking at 80 minutes each.
However, it's possible that the runtimes will grow bigger. Premiere tweted about the network's presentation that indicates the six episodes will reportedly hit 90 minutes each. Further explaining the tweet, Premiere noted that it remained to be seen why there was a difference in runtimes as seen in a screenshot from the presentation and what was claimed verbally.

Either it will be 80 or 90 minutes, the final season of "Game of Thrones" will undoubtedly bigger than the previous seasons. "I'm so excited for people to see it," star Kit Harington previously teased about the ending. "I think it's going to be extraordinary, hopefully it'll change TV again like it did originally, and break boundaries. I think it might."
"Game of Thrones" season 8 will premiere on Sunday, April 14 at 9 P.M. on HBO.
