AceShowbiz - Prince Philip has apparently not learned the lesson after being involved in a car crash on Thursday, January 17. On Saturday afternoon, less than 48 hours after the accident, the Duke of Edinburgh was spotted driving again without wearing a seatbelt.

In pictures obtained by Daily Mail, the 97-year-old Prince was seen behind the wheels of his brand new Land Rover heading into the main entrance gate to the Sandringham estate. According to The Guardian, police have spoken to the Prince and warned him after the pictures surface.

But Philip isn't the only member of the British royal family who has neglected the safe riding tips. On Friday, a day after her husband's collision, Queen Elizabeth II was also pictured driving her Range Rover without wearing a seatbelt on a public road in Sandringham.

As the Queen is immune from any civil or criminal proceedings, Buckingham Palace has insisted that the monarch was careful to ensure she privately complied with the law. A statement released on The Royal website read, "While no longer administering justice in a practical way, the Sovereign today still retains an important symbolic role as the figure in whose name justice is carried out, and law and order is maintained."

It continues, "Although civil and criminal proceedings cannot be taken against the Sovereign as a person under UK law, The Queen is careful to ensure that all her activities in her personal capacity are carried out in strict accordance with the law."

Meanwhile, one of the women in the other car which Philip's Land Rover collided with is upset that the royal has not apologized to her. "I'm lucky to be alive and he hasn't even said sorry," Emma Fairweather said to Sunday Mirror. She added, "It would mean the world to me if Prince Philip said sorry but I have no idea if he's sorry at all."

Emma admitted that she did receive a message from a police family liaison officer, but claimed, "The message he passed on didn't even make sense. He said, 'The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh would like to be remembered to you.' That's not an apology or even a well-wish."

Emma was also in the car with the 28-year-old driver, whose 9-month-old baby was found in the backseat. Emma broke her wrist, while the other woman suffered cuts to her knee. The baby was luckily injured. Prince Philip also escaped the accident without serious injuries.
