Insisting that he had compensated Concetta Graziosi for her overtime, the former husband of Jennifer Lopez files request for a dismissal of her suit in a New York court.

AceShowbiz - Latin superstar Marc Anthony is fighting a former housekeeper's $500,000 (£382,000) lawsuit over outstanding wages, insisting he owes her nothing.

The salsa hitmaker was slapped with legal action from Concetta Graziosi in October (2018), after she accused him of failing to pay overtime for work she carried out from 2005 to 2017, during which she was paid $2,000 (£1,500) a week.

Graziosi alleges she received the same amount no matter how many hours she worked at her boss' Long Island, New York property, and accused Anthony of deducting a processing fee from her cheque, which was directly deposited into her account.

She also maintained she went weeks without compensation, while she was never allowed any paid vacation time.

Anthony has now hit back at Graziosi, blasting her for allegedly inflating the number of hours worked on timesheets produced for the lawsuit, reports The Blast.

In his legal response, the I Need to Know hitmaker claims he paid the ex-staffer fairly and compensated her for overtime, but he objects to the additional hours he alleges have been added on to her court documents.

"The so-called timesheets proffered by plaintiff are, in many respects, inaccurate and inflated, and upon information and belief, in certain instances fraudulent," reads his filing, lodged in a New York court on Friday, January 11.

He is demanding her lawsuit be dismissed.
