AceShowbiz - Kenya Moore's life starts changing after she welcomed her baby girl Brooklyn Doris Daly in November. The former "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star shares now that she has been embarking on new life as a new mom, she is barely able to take care of herself. However, it's not entirely a bad thing for her.
Taking to her Instagram account, the 47-year-old reality TV star shares a pic of her best self. Kenya shared a photo of her pouting at the camera while sporting her natural hair. "When you're a new mom and don't have time to do your hair!" she captioned the pic, before taking an opportunity to do some ads for her hair care brand.
Fans were flooding the comment section with praises. "GORGEOUS AS ALWAYS!! MUCH LOVE!!" one comment read. Another fan agreed, writing, "Messy mom is the new sexy! Lol you look great."
One other also tried to assure her that the busy period will soon be over. "All mothers completely understand. However, it does get better. Just hang on in there," the fan said. Her post also hit fans really close to home as one commented, "I know exactly how you feel lol."
Kenya and husband Marc Daly welcomed their first child earlier than expected due to the pregnancy complication preeclampsia. It's a complication that caused her to gain "17 lbs. in ONE week due to severe swelling and water retention, high blood pressure, and excess protein in urine." The 47-year-old entrepreneur gave birth to her daughter early via an emergency Caesarean section on Sunday, November 4.
Explaining the reason behind their child's name, the new mom tells PEOPLE, "Brooklyn because that's where we met and fell in love, and Doris after my grandmother who passed away last year and who raised me."
Kenya and Marc got married in Saint Lucia in June 2017. The former Miss USA announced her pregnancy in April 2018.
