A few days after bringing home a Golden Globe for 'Shallow', the 'A Star Is Born' actress gets another reason to celebrate as her futuristic promo becomes her first video to pass the mark.

AceShowbiz - Golden Globe winner Lady GaGa has been given another reason to celebrate after "Bad Romance" became her first video to reach one billion views on YouTube.

The futuristic promo, which featured a catchy hook and top choreography, has proved to be a mega hit with fans, and its continued popularity has now helped the pop superstar to achieve the streaming milestone ahead of the single's 10th anniversary later this year.

"Bad Romance" marks the first and only video of GaGa's to date to hit a billion YouTube views, reports Billboard.

The news emerges days after the singer-turned-actress struck gold at the Globes, picking up the Best Original Song - Motion Picture honour for "Shallow", from her critically-acclaimed movie musical "A Star Is Born".

Her acting talents onscreen are also receiving high praise, scoring her a Best Leading Actress nomination for the BAFTAs on Wednesday, January 09, as well as a nod for Original Music, shared with her director and co-star Bradley Cooper and collaborator Lukas Nelson.

The film is also hotly-tipped to land a string of Oscars nominations when the contenders are announced on January 22.
