When hitting the red carpet of 2019 Golden Globes, the 'The Assassination of Gianni Versace' actor jokes that nobody sleeps in his house since he and husband Jwan Yosef welcomed baby Lucia.

AceShowbiz - Ricky Martin has been missing out on much-needed sleep since the arrival of his baby girl Lucia Martin-Yosef.

The "Livin' La Vida Loca" singer, who attended the 2019 Golden Globes on Sunday, January 06, surprised fans on New Year's Eve by announcing he and his husband, Jwan Yosef, are now also proud parents to a baby girl, Lucia, who joins their 10-year-old twin sons Matteo and Valentino.

And unsurprisingly, the star, who appeared in "The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story" as the slain designer's lover, Antonio D'Amico, admitted the couple is experiencing some sleepless nights.

"I haven't slept for 15 days," Ricky joked in a chat on the Globes red carpet with Entertainment Tonight. "Nobody sleeps in the house, it's really cool. It's insane but it's beautiful. I'm so happy."

Ahead of the awards ceremony, the proud father posted a photo taken by his husband which showed him getting ready for the night while also watching his newborn. And the 47-year-old shared that while he loves his career, nothing compares to the "tranquility" of family life.

"We love this, this is my career, I've been doing this since I was 12 years old," he continued. "I was born doing this, but there's nothing like the tranquility at home, when you have your kids running when you open the door of your house and they run toward you and they say, 'Daddy, Daddy, welcome home!' It's the best thing."

"The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story" took home two awards for Best Miniseries at the Globes, with Darren Criss, who played serial killer Andrew Cunanan, winning the gong for Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture for TV. And after his starring role, Ricky admitted he is keen on more acting opportunities.

"I'm here in Hollywood at the moment, reading a couple of scripts," he shared. "I'm really excited. Things are happening. Really good things are happening... I'm in a really good place right now, let's see what happens."
