While the 'Riverdale' star makes her Golden Globes debut in a giant tulle red gown, the former child star effortlessly wows in a light blue dress.

AceShowbiz - One of the biggest nights in the American film and television industry attracted the biggest stars in Hollywood. On Sunday, January 6, a bunch of A-listers showed up in their best dresses at The Beverly Hilton in California to attend the annual 76th Golden Globes Awards.
Most of the female attendees arrive in their stunning dresses, with some trying to turn the attention towards them with their train gowns. Among them was Lili Reinhart, Dakota Fanning and Francia Raisa. The Betty Cooper of "Riverdale" made her Golden Globes debut in a giant tulle red gown by Khyeli Couture which she paired with matching shoes and a pink lip, white nail polish as well as red eyeshadow.
Representing "The Alienist", which is up for Best Miniseries or Television film at the award-giving show, Dakota showed up in a light blue dress by Armani Prie. Her gown was low cut at the back with elegant ties. With her hair scraped back, the former child star was dripping in jewelry with a gorgeous silver necklace, matching earrings and statement ring.
Other stars who made their Golden Globes debut at this year's event were Francia and Jameela Jamil. The 30-year-old "grown-ish" star, who co-hosted the red carpet event on Facebook, wore a flowing black Maian Breton gown as she styled her hair in a neat bun. Meanwhile, "The Good Place" actress looked stunning in a rose pink strapless structured gown by Monique Huillier.
On the other hand, Alison Brie, effortlessly wowed everyone in her custom Vera Wang dress with a long train. In an interview with The New York Times, the actress talked about the training that she did for her role in "GLOW", for which she was nominated for best actress in a television series, musical or comedy. "I wanted to get really strong," she said. "We do all our own stunts, we do out own wrestling moves."
Hosted by Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh, the 2019 Golden Globes will air on NBC at 8 P.M. EST/ 5 P.M. PST.
