According to a source, a judge signed off on the dissolution of their marriage last month, four years after Erika filed for divorce from the former 'American Idol' judge.

AceShowbiz - Randy Jackson and his estranged wife are getting closer to be single again in the eyes of the law. A little over four years after Erika Riker filed for divorce in September 2014, news broke out that the former judge on "American Idol" and his ex will find themselves officially divorced on February 7.

Court documents obtained by TMZ uncovered that the dissolution of the estranged couple's marriage was signed off by a judge sometime in December 2018. Details on the settlement, however, are kept under wraps. Since the former pair did not have any prenuptial agreement, it is likely that all of what the record producer's earnings during the marriage will be split fifty-fifty between them.

Back in 2014, Riker cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason of her split from Jackson. At that time, she sought a full physical custody and joint legal custody of their youngest child, Jordan, who was at the time still a minor. She also sought spousal support and asked the Grammy-winning producer to pay for her attorney's fees.

At the time of split, Jackson and Riker had been married for 19 years. They are parents to two children together, a daughter named Zoe and a son named Jordan. Since the divorce process took a long time to be finalized, Jordan's custody won't be an issue anymore as their youngest son has since turned 21.

In regards to the marriage breakdown, an inside source told PEOPLE, "[Jackson] is bummed out. It's not the way he wanted it to happen or end." Still, this was not Jackson's first marriage. The "America's Best Dance Crew" producer was previously married to Elizabeth Jackson until it got dissolved in 1990. From the marriage, he had a daughter named Taylor.
